About 15 years ago, Julia Davis’ great-granddaughter, Diane Davis Myklegard began collaborating with City officials for a centennial celebration for the park. She spearheaded the formation of a group of volunteers - The Second Century Coalition - with a vision for the park’s future. The Coalition is made up of volunteer community leaders, service group representatives and professionals.
